Odisha Public Service Commission has announced the faculty recruitment for the post of Assistant Professor. They have released the notification on 15 May for 314 vacancy 24 different departments. Education Qualification For 314 Posts

• The candidate holding a postgraduate degree in the concerned subject is eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
• Any degree and qualification prescribed by MCI/NMC is also valid.
• The candidate who are applying under anesthesiaology and anatomy department they must have DNB training from the institute having 500 beds, and with one year post PG senior resident in that department.
• Having experience from less than 500 beds required two years PG senior resident experience in the concern department.

Age Requirement For Candidates

The age requirement for the selection of candidate is between 21 to 45 years as on 1st of January 2025. Above the 45 years age are not eligible for this position.

Selection Process

• The candidate selection is based on the return test conducted by the officials.
• Written examination contain 200 marks. There are total 200 MCQ questions with one marks each. Then negative marking is 0.25 for one wrong answer.
• The time for the return examination is 3 hours and the candidate will be selected based on the merit list prepared. All the shortlisted candidates call for the next round of interviews and document verification.
• The return examination include the syllabus for medical MSc and MD/MS syllabus as per MCI/NMC approved.
• They will examine on 17 August at Cuttack.
